Dr. Thomas grew up in the small state of Kerala, India, and went to dental school in the city of Chennai. Dr. Thomas learned that through dentistry she was able to combine her love for people with her desire to help them experience the confidence and happiness of a renewed smile.
After completing dental school in India, she moved to the US and completed dental school again at the Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine. She likes to joke that dental school is so nice, you do it twice! Upon completion of her second dental degree, she began working as an associate in New Jersey.
Dr. Thomas started her own practice because she values taking the time to get to talk with patients and ease their anxiety about treatment. She firmly believes it’s her responsibility to ensure the comfort and wellbeing of her patients, no matter how long it takes.
In her free time, Dr. Thomas spends time hanging out with her dog, gardening, traveling, reading, and even doing photoshoots for restaurants.
We know that going to the dentist isn’t the most exciting thing to do. That’s why we’re committed to providing you with the most relaxing, enjoyable experience. We love interacting with our patients and treating them like they’re a part of the Hudson Dental Edge family!
When you first walk through our doors, you’ll be greeted by our friendly team and comfortable environment. You’ll be invited to sit down and relax as you fill out any new patient forms prior to your appointment. Once those are complete and your hygienist is ready for you, we’ll invite you back into one of our operatories.
If you’re taking advantage of our new patient special, you’ll receive a cleaning, comprehensive exam, x-rays, and Dr. Thomas will sit down with you to discuss the results. If everything looks good, you’ll be able to schedule your next appointment in the front office. If anything needs extra attention, Dr. Thomas will explain the results and take time to address any questions or concerns you might have, and she will describe any further treatment recommendations
